SPE PUC-Rio Student Chapter Details
The PUC-Rio SPE Student Chapter was founded in 2007. The major aim of the Student Chapters is to develop a variety of activities in order to establish an effective contact among the academic staff and petroleum companies, as well as to disseminate the research works and thesis of graduate students, professors and SPE members. Student Chapters are formed by groups of students following a petroleum engineering or related curriculum at a college or university. SPE currently has more than 170 student chapters in countries around the world. Each student chapter is affiliated to an SPE section allowing students to interact with practicing professionals and benefit from technology discussions at section meetings. The PUC-Rio SPE Student Chapter is located in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
