The SPE Student Chapter UPPA is an independent subsidiary of the Society of Petroleum Engineers. The SPE is a global institution whose purpose is to promote technical knowledge in the upstream oil industry. It also helps to develop a network of relationships with oil engineers all around the world. After 7 years of existence, the SPE Student Chapter continues to keep its members informed of major trends in the oil industry, while preparing them for their future work environment. The SPE Student Chapter UPPA is located in Pau, in the Pyrenees Atlantiques, and is part of the SPE France section. At UPPA, the SPE Student Chapter is open to all students interested in the oil and gas industry, but is concentrated in the areas related to Geosciences, Production and Reservoir Engineering. Our Student Chapter organizes extra-curricular activities that enable students to develop their knowledge and skills related to the oil and gas industry. We try to give the best opportunities for students who want to improve their knowledge at UPPA. This year, the goal of the SPE Student Chapter UPPA is to diversify the activities of our organization and develop relationships with other French and foreign Students Chapters.
