Why digital marketing in the C-Store business? While many c-store related companies currently use traditional approaches like trade shows, golf events, salesperson spiffs, etc., this activity is focused on promoting products to the store operators. We acknowledge that no product can be sold until it lands on a retail shelf, but we see immediate and substantial opportunity in also focusing on direct consumer promotion. Digital Marketing is not new. These are proven techniques that successfully influence consumer behaviors. It can efficiently attract and nurture new consumer relationships that add value to the operators, distributors and manufacturers alike. Larger regional and national chains have leveraged the idea of promoting a customer experience through unique or high quality food and beverage offerings through digital channels. This is pulling volume from the local chains and independent retailers who do not have the infrastructure or budget to compete. Our industry has responded with a variety of product options for store operators. Many with little required investment in overhead or labor support. But few operators are effectively leveraging these attractive products to pull new customers to their stores.Our mission is to create affordable, effective digital products for independents, local chains and the manufacturers and distributors that serve them – to close this gap and help them to secure their piece of the c-store marketplace into the future.
