SpeedHound sniffs out the fastest Wi-Fi in your area. Our purpose is to connect people to great local businesses with high-quality internet.As we travel extensively as tech entrepreneurs (digital nomads), staying connected remains our top priority. Although review sites such TripAdivstor, Yelp, and AirBnb show where Wi-Fi is available, the speed and quality is unknown before arriving. While working from an unstable internet connection in a cafe in Northern Thailand, the idea for SpeedHound was born. We collect data from all around the world to enable sorting and filtering of businesses by Wi-Fi speed. Over the coming months we are releasing an API, browser extension, native integrations with other sites and a mobile SDK.
