Spider Eye is a UK animation company producing 2D traditional, digital and CGI animation for TV and film. We've been in business since 1998 and our two directors both come from over 25 years experience in the animation industry.Spider Eye were originally based in Oxford Circus, London and then in 2001 moved the whole empire down to the most westerly town in Britain: St Just in Penwith, Cornwall, from where we continue to work with clients all over the world.We create cartoons: TV series, films, specials, commercials & VFX in 2D and 3D. We have over 50 in-house digital seats, and a hugely talented crew. In 2012 we completed the second series of our own show Jungle Junction for Disney Junior, bringing the total to 92 x 11min episodes. Jungle Junction airs in 149 countries in 30 languages and reaches over 67 million households. Both series were produced in-house here in Cornwall. Moshi Monsters - the Movie, was co-directed by Spider Eye's Morgan Francis and delivered in 2013. We took the film from the supplied script and storyboard, through to final delivery.In 2015, Spider Eye co-developed and delivered a brand new series for CBeebies UK, Spot Bots. We also completed our second web series of Thomas the Tank Engine for HIT/Mattel.In 2016/2017 we co-developed and produced in house another brand new series, the Happos Family, this time for Cartoon Network's Boomerang channels worldwide. The Happos Family was nominated for both a Bafta and a BAA in 2018.In 2018/2019 we have completed production services on series 1 of 3D CGI children's series Dr Panda for Dr Panda Ltd which is currently being distributed by 9 story Media Group and are currently in pre-production on Series 2.
