HISTORY Spigo was founded in 2006 in Denmark, creating community games websites in 16 languages across 20 countries. Initially creating a total of 50 small to mid-sized casual games, Spigo had more than 25 million visitors during the first five years, some of whom became subscribers. Around 2012, Spigo made drastic changes for the better, totally recreating its games platform to accommodate a new focus on portable devices, scalability and money games. This change in direction was accompanied by the business model shifting its main attention from end consumers to becoming a software developer, providing robust, casual and social money games. COMPANY Privately held company set up in Viborg, Denmark with branch offices in St. Julians, Malta, and Miami, USA. Spigo is a 100% independent provider of online gaming software on regulated markets – it holds a MGA (Malta Gaming Authority) license and the software meets the criteria for the Danish market outlined by the Danish Gaming Authority.
