SPINUP IS A REACTION – AND A SOLUTION – TO WHAT WE SAW IN OUR COMBINED 30 YEARS EXPERIENCE OF DELIVERING E-COMMERCE SOLUTIONS TO CLIENTS FROM INSIDE DIGITAL AGENCIES.While working on creating on-shore, near-shore and off-shore teams, we got a real insight into exactly what works – and what doesn't.In creating the business model for SpinUP we considered three common types of client maturity and what would be best for them.1. In the first instance we looked at early stage clients that needs high levels of hand holding and support from digital agencies. We knew this model well and knew that resourcing is a constant challenge so we created an offering to train developers and offer them to agencies on a flexible, on-demand basis.2. Secondly we looked at ecommerce businesses at the other end of the maturity spectrum. These businesses had already started to in-house many of the functions they originally outsourced but due to their location or local costs taking Technical Architecture or ongoing platform development was cost-prohibitive. In this instance provide dedicated, trained teams to work remotely and reduce cost to increase the return on investment.3. Lastly we saw there was an emerging market in North Africa, The Middle East and Central Europe but not service providers in region with the ability to deliver entire projects at market appropriate pricing so we started to support technology vendors who wanted to build customer partnerships in these regions.Today we are nearly 50 people strong and growing at 110% year-on-year.
