Spirulina is a microalgae taken for its high content in proteins, iron, vitamins and anti-oxydants. It is considered as an efficient mean to fight malnutrition, reinforces the immune system, or prevents cardiovascular diseases. The technology developed by Spiris considerably enhances spirulina productivity and reduces significantly its production costs. Spiris has the ambition to produce and commercialise a high quality spirulina, while reducing water consumption and increasing CO2 absorption produced by biogas combustion.
