Nonprofit Organization Management - Sevenoaks, England, United Kingdom
We work for and train people to work together for the common good. Our work with multi-cultural and marginalised communities (including people with learning disabilities and refugees), tackles isolation, creates cohesion and contributes to communities where all can flourish. We bring together majority and minority communities, creating long-term relationships of inclusion and understanding. Through sharing the skills in our Human Flourishing training and organising innovative events and multi-cultural community activities, we encourage others to work for the common good. We are particularly pleased that people with learning disabilities have taken part in our training and subsequently contributed to the wider community. We carry out our work under the following interrelated project areas: - Community Engagement: Brings diverse communities together creating understanding and lasting positive relationships. - Pathways for Human Flourishing: Equipping individuals and groups to work together for the common good. - Arts at the Intersection: Facilitating access to arts and cultural activities for individuals and communities with a special focus on participation from marginalised and minority groups, bridging cultures, enhancing community cohesion and enabling wellbeing and personal growth. - Kingian Nonviolence Training: Fosters understanding of how to build harmonious relationships. We deliver this to schools and community groups including to prisoners.
