In January 1986, under the joint endeavour of Mrs. Ilina Sen and Miss Sobha Bose a new school with twenty toddlers was formed in Kalyani. The school was named "SPRINGDALE".The name and fame of the school soon graduated into Primary Level. But things did not stop there. Constant pressurization of the local people and in order to fulfill the present day need of society, the school progressed into the Secondary Level and then into Higher Secondary Level.Springdale School has taken all possible steps to build up in their students' virtue, discipline, self reliance and other correct moral values. Education here is not confined only to a formal one. An endeavour is made to make an all round development of a child.The school tries to fulfill all the requirements of an ideal school. A child leaving the Springdale School will definitely be one with a mind without fear and the head held high.
