SR Telecom Inc provides IT and Telecommunications assessments, designs and implementations to both public and private enterprise businesses.• Broad background in design and implementation of telecommunications equipment including analog and digital voice systems, data and data network systems and Video Conferencing and video systems;• Design and implementation experience with telecommunications such as communications facilities, indoor and outdoor cable and fiber optic plant, PBX networks including VoIP, WAN, LAN, wireless and wired data networks, video conferencing and video camera systems.Various customer duties performed by SR Telecom Inc.• IT and Telecommunications assessments and designs;• Creation and evaluations of customer's telephony RFPs;• Formulating strategies and plans for short-term and long-term telephony technology architecture;• Evaluations and selections of hardware and software product standards for contact centre infrastructure, wireless telephony solutions, PBX standards and interoperability and voice mail systems and systems upgrades;• Preparation and evaluation of external services by directing the RFI, RFQ and/or RFP process for telephony infrastructure;• Coordinating technical planning for corporate large-scale systems initiatives;• Providing consultation and advice to senior management on technology alternatives and solutions for various telephony projects;• Designing and coordinating the implementation of an enterprise-wide telephony architecture;• Implement enterprise policies and standards related to telephony architecture;• Communicate the approach for technology infrastructure to client IT staff, management, and project teams while participating in several committees on behalf of our customers.
