Sree Bhadra group (Kanjirapilly Mana Group named after Goddess "Bhadra") inspired from agriculture to trading, manufacturing and amusement. Pioneering in rubber plantations 60 years ago, Sree Bhadra Farms diversified into other crops such as pineapple, banana, and now into Vanilla. For the last 15 years using only natural fertilizers such as vermi- compost, cow dung etc .Now bio dynamic methods also being used to avoid pesticides. The flagship business of the group is now at an annual turnover of Rs.12.5 million. The presence in the distribution of FMCG products in upper part of Ernakulam District and Idukki District established 15 years back is at an annual turnover of Rs.25 million. The new generation technocrat entrepreneurs of the group have set up and managing FRONTLINE POLYMERS P.Ltd, to manufacture Storage tank in the brand name "VARSHA" is a brand leader in the State next to the National Brand "Syntex" with a annual turnover of Rs. 100 million. Other diversified activity of the erstwhile aristocratic Brahmin family included trading in Stock and Shares.The Chairman of the Sree Bhadra Group Mr..K. R. Narayanan Namboodiripad "KR" as he is popularly known is a keen activist in improving education in the State. He is the founder Secretary of Sree Sankara Educational Trust, which runs three colleges in the State of Kerala and held the coveted office for over 25 years. (Mr.Namboodiripad is now the Chairman of the Trust.) The group ventures into the entertainment business by setting up "BAY WATCH" at Kanyakumari, the southern most tip of this sub continent, by incorporating SREE BHADRA PARKS AND RESORTS LIMITED.
