The National Service Scheme (NSS) is an India Government Sponsored Public Service Program Conducted by the Ministry of youth Affairs and Sports of the Government of India. NSS provides the students an opportunity to understand the Community, identify its needs and problems as well as the solutions in which they can be involved by assuming social and civil responsibilities. SSDWIT's NSS Unit accomplishes various activities like Swacchh Bharat Abhiyaan, Literacy Programmes, personality development, Self-Defence for girls, awareness rallies, seminar on various issues social and health, blood donation Camp etc.
