SSP Ltd started in 1994 as a company providing safety surfaces for children's play grounds including artificial grass surfaces, and providing a range of sports equipment including an extensive range of maintenance equipment for tennis club surfaces. The company quickly identified a need for equipment to maintain artificial grass tennis and sports surfaces and so the Synthetic Sports Surface Maintenance services offered by SSP Ltd were born. Significant developments have taken place since then in both machinery and techniques so much so that the company now offers a Full Rejuvenation of synthetic grass sports surfeces along with annual regular maintenance services. Services are now also available for all types of sports surface including Artificial Clay Tennis Courts, Acrylic Surfaces, Tarmacadam, Polymeric, 4G and 3G systems.The development of leisure range of artificial grass and coloured artificial grass saw it's expansion into playgrounds and gardens and the expansion of SSP's playground division. SSP Play range now includes wet pour rubber and artificial grass , a wide range of playground equipment , sunshades and canopies, timber trails, and thermoplastic playground marking.
