SSV Ulm 1846 Fußball e. V., abbreviated SSV Ulm 1846 Fußball and still commonly known as SSV Ulm 1846, is a football club from the Swabian city of Ulm. It was formed in 2009 by splitting off the football department from the general club SSV Ulm 1846. The club colours of the club popularly called "die Spatzen" (after the Ulmer Spatz) are black and white, like the Ulm city colours. The club, which played in the Bundesliga as the football department of the parent club in the 1999/2000 season and competed in the fifth-class football Oberliga Baden-Württemberg after its third insolvency in 2014, now plays in the Regionalliga South West again.
