St. Augustine Regional (StAR) Council is a non-profit organization founded in the fall of 2010 to attract individuals to the St. Augustine area. Many people have a desire to move to Florida, but have not heard of St. Augustine and all the wonderful aspects of living in northeast Florida.Comprised completely of community volunteers, the StAR Council is actively dedicated to promoting the St. Augustine region including Ponte Vedra Beach, World Golf Village, Hastings, Crescent Beach and all of St. Johns County. Membership is $100/year per individual and is open to everyone.Money raised will be used to market the St. Augustine region and to preserve the quality of life in the nation's oldest city and surrounding areas in northeast Florida.
