Higher Education - Dehiwala-Mount Lavinia, Western Province, Sri Lanka
Established in 1915 with 15 Students as a mixed English Anglican School was begun on a piece of land where Rev John Henry Wickramanayake the then Vicar of the Church of St.John had from the Bishop of Colombo. In 1935 the Warden of S. Thomas' College, Mount Lavinia - Rev. Canon Reginald Stewart de Saram laid the foundations for the Boys School which was named the St. John's College, Nugegoda.
