The St. Louis Aces are a franchise of the World TeamTennis Professional League. The Aces team is made of two men and two women who are all top-ranked pros out on the tour. Additionally, the Aces bring in world renowned tennis players to star as Marquee Players. Past Marquee Players include 2009 US Open Champion Kim Clijsters, Anna Kournikova, Serena Williams, Andy Roddick, #1 Men's Doubles Team Bob & Mike Bryan, and Pete Sampras. The Aces play all seven of their home matches at Dwight Davis Tennis Center in Forest Park. World TeamTennis, co-founded by Billie Jean King, is well-known for introducing innovative elements to tennis including instant replays, co-ed format, multi-colored courts, cumulative no-ad scoring, and player names on back of their jerseys. The 35th season of the World TeamTennis Pro League will run July 5-25, 2010.
