About Parry:Parry the parrot is the main character of the book, and is based on Grant Trebilco, the Founder of OneWave (www.onewaveisallittakes.com / @onewaveisallittakes). Grant's story is one of triumph in adversity, where following a diagnosis of bipolar disorder, he used surfing a a key to his mental health recovery. In 2013, he decided to go surfing in fancy dress to start conversations about mental health, which evidently kickstarted a global movement called Fluro Friday.
