Stanford Science Consulting Group (SSCG), originally known as Stanford Students in Applied Research, is the only science and technology-focused consulting group based out of Stanford University founded by current McKinsey & Co. consultants. SSCG is devoted to helping its clients solve its toughest challenges and exposing its members to opportunities in science consulting.Our mission is to apply a science and engineering approach to address key business issues in the physical and life sciences.As a student group, we aim to provide students with the unique experience of applying concepts in the classroom to real world problems, as well as to develop the next class of business-minded scientists and engineers. Our alumni and current members have professional experience in premier companies such as Google, McKinsey & Co. and Goldman Sachs.
