SPSPL is the pioneer in Skill Assessment and is the founder Assessment Body in the country. SPSPL conducted Pilot Skill Assessment under SDI Scheme based on MES at Patranga, Barabanki [Uttar Pradesh] for KVIC Trainees [Weavers & Spinners for Khadi Sector] on 20th May 2007.Star Projects Services Pvt. Ltd. was empanelment by DGT vide order no. DGET-2/4/2007-MES/IS dated 25th June 09 as one of the Assessing Body under Skills Development Initiative Scheme based on Modular Employable Skills (MES) for Skills assessment for Construction Sector initially, however based on performance of Assessment Body, SPSPL was allotted additional 11 Sectors vide DGT letter no-2/4/2007-MES/IS Vol. II dated 17th August 11.SPSPL was allotted further additional 9 Sectors vide MSDE letter no MSDE-2/1/2015-SDI/MES dated 8th June 15.So far SPSPL has Assessed 75536 Candidates all over the country covering 21 Sectors and 27 States as per the Annexure "A1". SPSPL has assessed so far around 2,48,441 candidates across India as Annexure "A"
