Star Trekk' ESCP is a student association organizing an annual sustainable trek for about 100 students with a budget of 48 000€. Founded in 2010, the society units each year between 25 and 30 members from ESCP campuses: Paris, Berlin, London, Madrid, Warsaw and Torino. The trek is made of individual and in-team hikings, a water activity (rafting, canyoning…) and an orienteering. Each year, about 30 companies sponsor the event with financial support or products donations. Star Trekk'ESCP Europe remains active all year long : many conferences and workshops are set up on the campuses. It also organises an orienteering race in Paris to arouse students' sense of challenge. Through its activities, Star Trekk' aims to encourage future managers to surpass themselves but also to raise awareness of the environmental and social issues among them. Star Trekk' has been awarded with the Ecofest label, symbol of its environmental commitment. Ever since, it remains firmly committed to raising awareness in terms of nature protection and sorting waste. Star Trekk' also compensates the carbon footprint generated by its sports events by planting trees in regions threatened by deforestation. Since 2017 and the 7th edition of the trek, a team of refugees is invited.
