We are Texas Certified K12 Educators looking to extend STEAM learning beyond the walls of the classroom. As our society increasingly depends on science, technology, engineering, and math, our children need to understand these fields. We want to inspire future engineers and problem-solvers, innovative thinkers and compassionate citizens. Since STARR utilizes a comprehensive inquiry process, our students will be partners in deciding where their learning will take them. Each instructor will pose a Driving Question-a complex problem, scenario, or challenge to the group. Through guided collaboration, communication, and critical thinking skills, our young STARRs will find solutions, create products and presentations, and reflect on the inquiry process.
