Start is an independent production company & DVD that has made and released acclaimed music documentaries, including "Love Story", a feature length doc on legendary Los Angeles band Love, "The Ballad of Mott the Hoople" on glam rock 'n' rollers Mott the Hoople, and "Mountain Picnic Blues", on The Charlatans' "Tellin' Stories" LP. Other projects include PiL Live concert film "There is a PiL in Heaven", "Revolution Blues", a film covering Julian Cope's Black Sheep Busking Tour and live filming work on Liverpool's Shack. We have also recently started work on a Pete Wylie/Wah! documentary.
