Welcome to Static Motor Recordings—a Boston-based indie label and home to americana popsmiths The Longwalls and DIY wunderkind Kurt von Stetten.The goal is simple: provide a voice for some great music, and make back the coins necessary to support the creation of more. We try to do interesting things with packaging so that people get a real artifact when they make a purchase. Otherwise, most everything is also available on MP3s via Bandcamp (our preference as it's better for the bands) and iTunes.
