Association Stav + is an NGO founded in June 2008 and provides assistance and support to persons who living with HIV/AIDS and members of their families.Employees on the projects themselves are PLHIV people, or people directly affected by HIV and experts.We developed the following services and activities:Psychosocial support - self-help groups, counselling 1:1,Health assistance Home based care, Developing new skills and knowledge,SOS telephone support - for beneficiaries that would like to be anonymousRe-socialization of PLHIV – socializing and sharing experiences in the premises of the Association, organizing weekend trips and other social activities.Taking participation - in national and international campaigns related to the prevention of HIV / AIDS and reducing stigma and discrimination of PLHIV.Stav + is member of PLHIV Union of Serbia (USOP) and the Vojvodina HIV network.We have PLHIV representatives in the Executive Council of Vojvodina and we have signed the memorandum of cooperation with most government institutions and NGOs that work on improving the quality of life of PLHIV.One of Stav+ strategic goal in the next period is to link with other Balkan, European and Global networks and organizations dealing with PLHIV rights and support in order to exchange know-how and to implement examples of good practices in our country.
