Staycation in the Nation are proud Canadians making an effort to support our great country. We are Staycation In The Nation, Proud Canadians who not only wanted to show our national pride but to take time to recognize and promote local Canadian businesses trying to make a living during Covid-19 and always. We are firm believers in supporting local- our neighbours who hire neighbours, sponsor our kids' teams, support local charities and fundraisers, and pay local taxes. For us, this means placing a strong emphasis on supporting Canadians by prioritizing their use and consumption above all. This in turn keeps our local economy strong, and subsequently supports the livelihood and wellbeing of our fellow Canadians. It's been a hard time for all of us, and local businesses of all kinds from Canada's coast-to-coast are some of the hardest hit. At Staycation, we set out to do our part to support great Canadian businesses, artists and Canadian tourism the best we can, and we know there's much more that can be done to keep our fellow Canadian thriving.But that's not all ( or enough, frankly.) Through our collaboration with the SITN movements- PrideSITN, SheSITN, A11YSITN and SITN.CA, as well as strategic partnerships with forward-thinking organziations- Staycation in the Nation suppports Canada's diversity and inclusivity for all. We focus on making the maximum positive efforts for our community. Our members and volunteers provide the momentum that helps us affect change. Though education and dialogue, we hope to provide opportunities for change and acceptance that will make a long- lasting difference.
