Darcie has produced and project managed high-profile jobs for +15 years.Steel Pines started from a mutual desire to slow down their lives, start a small business and work with their favorite material: WOOD. The company name comes from the meeting of two worlds: Darcie, who lived in NYC for eight years, worked (remotely) full-time at Sports Illustrated Swimsuit as the Senior Editor. Mark grew up near the Adirondacks living every moment he could outdoors. Outside of construction, he loves mechanics and woodworking. Their opposite lifestyles and backgrounds converge perfectly like Steel and Pine do. Industrial meets natural. Two strong, durable and functional materials that have endless opportunities for creating and building.
