Steengaard is more than ecology - we are a principle agriculture. Behind our principle agriculture is an uncompromising approach to the production of meat of very high quality based on high animal welfare and respect for nature - and the entire value chain is located on the farm. We grow our own feed and breed our own animals. They live their entire lives on Steensgaards fields, and when they are to be slaughtered it happens in our own slaughterhouse, where they are transformed into delicious delicacies. You can buy the delicacies in our farm shop or enjoy them in our restaurant, Spiseriet. You can also choose to take a walk in our beautiful surroundings and see the value chain with your own eyes. With Steengaard we want to create a place that restores the connection between human beings and the food we eat. Steengaard is about good food craftsmanship, fresh produce and not least the ability to look our food in the eyes.
