In 1995, Stef Salieri began his journey through music. At the age of 4, he wrote his first piece, 'Spring Waltz' for solo piano. between 1995 and 1997, he wrote tune after tune, all for solo piano he called 'Mood Pieces' as they did not have any melody, but instead made up of complex chord progressions, scales and arpeggios. In 1997, he finished his first piano sonata 'La Passionata' which was his first piano sonata which utilized a melody and a theme, which he used in many of his later works. Today, Stef Salieri has had his work featured in films showcased at Sundance Film Festival 2015 and 2016, The Fringe Festival and live on stage.
