Who am I?A Mechanical Engineer with over seven years of experience in insulation and refractory lining. Familiar with Home office requisitioning, technical specifications, heat transfer calculations, MTO's and product development. Field supervision on refineries and shop inspections all over the world.Why I do this job?Nowadays almost all discussions on the energy transition are about "what type of energy to use". I personally like to focus more on how we produce the energy in an efficient way, whether it is electricity, traditional fuels or alternative energy. We do this by improving the way we maintain the energy-production, by means of better insulation and refractory systems.My way of workingEvery job, every client and every person we work with is unique. From my experience working with numerous colleagues, clients, vendors and contractors with many different nationalities and backgrounds I have created a broad understanding of how to maintain a healthy work situation. As a supervisor in the field, an employee in the office and an inspector at the vendor shop, the most effective and save way to work is not telling people how to do their jobs but to be part of the team, to motivate and most of all to enjoy the work. In this way we get the best out of the people and the situation at hand.
