Stehind is a platform aimed at sharing stories of authentic human experiences. This blog addresses four main problems of the international media scene: media imperialism, that permeates our world through the filtration of international news according to economic relevance; the overly negative bias of most news outlets, which garner relevance sharing mostly only negative happenings; the cruelty of the unempathetic approach taken by international media with regard to foreign issues and events: by allowing everyone to share stories of their own stories, you will read only personal pieces which will spark a greater sense of sympathy in the reader; last, we aim at offering a platform able to reach a vast diversity of people and a multicultural audience, aiming to break the barriers that jeopardise one's ability to be heard by the wider public on conventional social media platforms.
