Stella Bella, meaning ‘Beautiful Star', began in 1996 with the creation of theSuckfizzle vineyard wines and today is rated amongst the best wineries in Australia, setting the benchmark for producing southern Margaret River wines. Today Stella Bella is continuously evolving to create beautiful wines that captivate and create a memorable wine experience. The small team who bring these wines to life is led by Chief Winemaker Luke Jolliffe and Viticulturist Steve Martin.Our committed and passionate team ensure our wines receive meticulous attention to detail and care from the vineyard to the bottle. Our approach to winemaking is based upon respect for the diversity of our five vineyards. Our philosophy is to respect the varietal characteristics of the fruit to craft regionally expressive wines.Each parcel of fruit is vinified separately to preserve its individuality. Winemakingtechniques are utilised to enhance the varietal aromas, flavours, textures and create unique blending components.Stella Bella's five small distinctive vineyards are located throughout southernMargaret River, an area of our region chosen for its cool climate and ability to produce elegant, aromatic and medium bodied wines with personality and precision. Peak summer & low winter temperatures are moderated by extra cloud cover & ocean winds. Resulting in a longer cooler ripening period.
