Stem Watches is a unisex Irish watch brand with a social mission.We plant a tree through our partners WeForest every time you buy a watch. Each tree we plant benefits local communities by creating bio-diverse, indigenous forests. Planting trees also offers social justice as it provides jobs for men & women in what are typically impoverished regions, enabling them to send their children to school.We founded Stem Watches out of frustration with unethical practices & astonishing profit margins. In traditional retail, a watch can be marked up to 10x the original price by the time it reaches you. We eliminate these mark-ups by being online-only, & we pass these savings directly on to you. We are fully transparent about our goals & pricing.Our partnership with WeForest helps us to give back to our earth & its communities. Each tree donated benefits local communities by creating bio-diverse, indigenous forests. The tree-planting in turn creates jobs that empower both men & women - enabling them to provide education for their children.We are passionate advocates of the direct-to-consumer model (DTC). In traditional retail, a watch can be marked up to 10x the original price by the time it reaches you. DTC eliminates the many middlemen who take a share of profit at multiple stages: designers, manufacturers, brands, wholesalers, distributors & retailers. Middlemen introduce extra costs, more friction & information loss. As we control every aspect of our supply chain, we are able to offer unparalleled value & quality. Our unisex watches are crafted from surgical-grade 316L stainless steel and domed crystal glass.
