STEMboat is a Dallas, TX, area non-profit. We focus on STEM education, using maritime technology as a platform. Our programs give local youth experience building real-world systems with mentorship from industry veterans.Sailboats use clean, quiet and free wind energy for propulsion. To harness this energy, one must understand physics, aerodynamics, control systems, meteorology, software and mechanical engineering. Our miniature Autonomous Sailing Vessels (ASVs) and Remotely Operated Surface Vessels (ROSVs) are safe and engaging vehicles of learning.
