StempowerHer is a student run organization that teaches math and science to young girls in order to encourage them to pursue STEM fields in the future. There is a wide disparity between the percentage of men and women in STEM, and this is due in part, to girls all around the world growing up in an environment that is less supportive of their passions than boys. Our organization's goal is to help achieve gender equality in STEM fields by teaching young girls to love these male dominated disciplines, and that your gender doesn't determine your role in society.
