At Stepping Stones we continue to work closely with the Nottingham Early Years Department to maintain the highest standard of quality care for your child. This sometimes involves ongoing projects that benefit both children and parents. We are registered with OFSTED and our inspection reports are available to view. We are also members of the National Day Nursery Association (NDNA) and regularly attend meetings, sharing experiences and ideas to benefit the nursery. The Government aim is to support every child/young person from birth to 19 years whatever their background or circumstances. The five outcomes of the Every Child Matters Framework (E.C.M) helps the setting achieve this. These are:• Stay Safe• Be Healthy• Enjoy and Achieve• Make a positive Contribution• Achieve Economic Well-BeingAt Stepping Stones we work in partnership with parents, carers and other agencies to promote healthy choices, to protect children from harm, support and encourage opportunities for learning, promote positive behaviour and encourage well-being. The nursery ensures that the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) is effectively implemented so that all of our children learn and develop to their full potential and are kept healthy and safe at all times. The four themes of the EYFS promotes each individual child's progress throughout the setting.
