Steri3X Steri3X, an FDA cleared Class I medical device, is a non-antibiotic, microbicidal liquid that when applied to clean, dry skin or wounds kills any organism (including bacteria, fungus, and virus) on contact, including an immediate kill of the main causes of infections Staphylococcus aureus (staph), both MSSA (methicillin-sensitive Staphylococcus aureus) and MRSA (Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus), candida albicans, escherichia coli (E-coli), and candida auris (C. auris). When it dries (in less than one minute) it prevents infection by creating an elastomeric, waterproof, protective barrier which adheres to the skin preventing the migration of organisms and protecting the wound from harmful elements (water, dirt and germs).Steri3X promotes wound healing by providing an optimum environment for enhancing the body's natural wound healing process. It penetrates the natural biofilm, eradicates all organisms and prevents oxygen entry which reduces the number of free radicals that can damage tissue. Steri3X fits easily into standard physician wound care protocols because it can be reapplied every day or a single application can remain on the wound for several days. It will not adhere to wounds or new growth tissue and will not disturb new skin growth when removed. This allows for frequent dressing changes without disrupting the healing process. Steri3X is available in a sterile 1.6 mL single dose or in a non-sterile 20 mL multi-use bottle.
