Sterling Chemicals & Alcohols Limited has been incorporated under the Companies Act, 1956 on 4th July 1991. The Company has its registered office at Office no 9 - at 3rd Floor, Aditya Centeegra, F C Road , Shivajinagar Pune -411004.The company was started with a view to cater to the needs of the local market in the state of Maharashtra.The manufacturing facilities are presently located at Gat No. 943/1A/1, Sanaswadi, Taluka – Shirur, District: Pune – 412 208 in the state of Maharashtra.The Company has its manufacturing capacity of 60 KLPD [60,000 Bulk Liter Per Day] to cater to the increasing needs of its customer in local as well as overseas market.The entire operations are managed by Chairman Mr. Jayant Arbatti from 1991 onwards.The Company is a part of Sugar Industry, alcohol industry & Distillery. The product includes alcohol & related chemicals [Molasses, biogases, and denaturants] for sugar industries and alcohol Industry. The Company has secured various types of licenses for procurement, storage, manufacture, and sale of alcohols.The Company is supplying Hydrous & Anhydrous Ethyl Alcohol- Plain and Denatured, to chemical industry, Pharma industry, paints & printing inks industry, cosmetics & perfumery as well as to defence sector, chemical laboratories, research & educational institutions, hospitals etc. The Company has started supplying fuel ethanol to oil refining & marketing cos. in India for petrol blending. The Company is a leading supplier in fuel ethanol supplies to the Industry.The Company is continuously supplying other grades of ethanol to chemical & Pharma industries. This includes exports in addition to inland supplies of different grades of alcohol. During the last five year Company has made effort to raise its sales from 10 Crore to 50 Crore.The Company procures its raw- material mainly from Co-operative Sugar factories located in and around Pune.
