The land use practice focuses on Prince William, Stafford, Spotsylvania, Culpeper, Fauquier, Manassas, Manassas Park, Winchester, Frederick, and Clarke Counties. The firm's principal, Corey Stewart, served as Chairman of the Prince William Board of County Supervisors (2006-2019). As the chief elected official in the County, Mr. Stewart was ultimately responsible for overseeing the County's departments, activities, $1.3 billion budget and 4000 employees. His oversight of land use and development in the County provides a full understanding of development issues from the perspective of County decision makers. Also with the firm is Ron Escherich, a land use planner. Ron served as a Project Manager with Prince William County for nearly 20 years (2001-2020) where he managed hundreds of land use cases.The firm's international trade practice advises exporters and other businesses on compliance with U.S. export controls and sanctions.
