The Central Limburg Education Foundation is a cooperative board for Catholic and general special education. The board office of the foundation is located in Roermond. Four broad comprehensive schools for secondary education belong to the foundation: BC Broekhin --> http://www.broekhin.nl Connectcollege Echt --> http://www.connectcollege.nl Mundiumcollege --> http:// www.mundiumcollege.nl Sg. St. Ursula --> http://www.ursula.nl The schools have a total of about 8300 students and 1000 staff members. The competent authority of the foundation is formed by the Executive Board, which is charged with managing the foundation. The Executive Board focuses mainly on policy at the level of the upper school. The schools function as relatively autonomous, self-responsible units.
