The Urban Photo Race is a one-day (12h) digital photo contest that gives you the opportunity to look at the details and life of the city in a different way. Part photo-journalism, part treasure hunting, it can be mainly described as a race against the clock to catch the essence of the city in street photographs.Through the Urban Photo Race we set you up to discover new places and to meet other urban savvy photographers while using your creativity to interpret and translate different themes into photos.Throughout the day, you are asked to take a set of 18 photos divided in 6 themes. These themes will be disclosed along the day at different venues.At the end of the day we all gather at the last checkpoint to deliver the photos that you took and selected.After that your job is done, you can sit down with us, enjoy a nice cold beer and tell us all about your day adventures.Some days later our jury goes through all of the submitted photos and selects the 3 best sets and the best themes. Winners are later announced in a closing event where we deliver awards and hold a photo exhibition.
