HISTORYFor three generations, our family has been dedicated to the art of creating award-winning organic breads, as well as gourmet cakes and cookies. In 1939, when our grandfather started his artisan bakery in the heart of Westphalia, Germany, he likely did not foresee his descendants baking his recipes half a world away, in Canada.Our love for baking healthy bread led us to pioneer organic sourdough baking in Canada. However, when second-generation Hans missed the quality German Christmas goodies, he used his love and talent to create recipes for incredibly delicious, traditional German Christmas cakes and cookies. Everything Hans creates is of the highest quality, using only premium and abundant ingredients. Connoisseurs know that Hans' Stollen recipe contains more rum soaked raisins, fruits, almonds and creamery butter than many trademarked Dresdner Stollen.Today we continue to use his original recipes and employ the same careful baking methods, so our customers can enjoy traditional treats of the highest quality.OUR VALUESAt Stickling's Bakery we take pride in offering quality baked goods to all customers.
