STIMAG's main objective is to improve healthcare. STIMAG wants to achieve this by subsidizing medical scientific research with an interdisciplinary or multidisciplinary component.Innovative research is needed to achieve improvements within healthcare. Collaboration between different disciplines can contribute to accomplish this. STIMAG wants to award grants for multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary scientific projects to encourage researchers to approach scientific challenges from a different point of view, thereby encouraging cross-disciplinary research and new innovative partnerships.Who can apply?Scientist working at Dutch scientific institutions that have a common purpose can apply for a grant. Young scientists in PhD or postdoc position are preferred.Applications can be submitted for research projects that approach a scientific question from at least two disciplines, one of which must have a (bio) medical nature (this includes pharmacy, bio-pharmacy and medicine).For more information on conditions for grant applications, please visit our website www.sti-mag.nl.
