*Sto Lat Filmes* is an independent producing company directed by the filmmaker and producer Rafael Urban. Based in Curitiba, Brazil, its films have been shown in festivals such as Rotterdam, Locarno, Chicago and Brasília. The company runs the project Núcleo Criativo Aqui e Lá, that develops the screenplay for five first feature-films under the tutoring of the Argentine Lucrecia Martel and the Brazilian Karim Aïnouz. The company's first coproduction is Valley of Souls (2019), by the Colombian Nicolás Rincón Gille, which won the Golden Star at the Marrakech IFF. Larissa Figueiredo's The Bull (2015), Sto Lat's first feature-lenght documentary film, had its World Premiere in the 44th IFF Rotterdam. Sto Lat's first production was Dinosaur Eggs in the Living Room, directed by Rafael Urban, which was awarded the Best Short Film of the 66th Edinburgh IFF (2012) and presented in 140 festivals. The company is also dedicated to projects that combine cinema and education, such as the series of workshops Ficção Viva, that brought to Brazil the directors Carlos Reygadas, Miguel Gomes and Pedro Costa.
