Stokes Foundation is a registered 501(c)3 non-profit organization and national philanthropic foundation listed on GuideStar. We deliver the transformative elements of campus life directly to students in under-resourced school communities. We build Urban Boarding Schools via strategic partnership with existing public, private, charter, and parochial schools. We were founded in honor of J.J. Stokes, Deerfield Academy '92 (posthumous) who tragically passed away on campus in 1991 and in service to students in need.
