Education Management - Stony Brook, New York, United States
Stony Brook Vietnamese Student Association (VSA), founded in 1992, is a cultural organization and is open to all students to help spread Vietnamese culture. Vietnam has deep roots and rich culture that we would like to preserve and showcase. Through cultural diversity, we can establish a greater understanding, respect, and appreciation of different cultures. We explore all Vietnamese traditions including history, dishes, games, dances, and more. Every year, we host several fundraisers and donate profits to selected organizations such as the Children of Vietnam and Messengers of Love.Mission statement: "The purpose of this organization is to establish a community where Vietnamese culture is valued, shared, and appreciated."This community is established through our general body meetings, cultural events, family program, and more!
