Storyboard Toys! LLC was founded by Curtis Jacobson in 2002. The company invented, produced and marketed innovative educational toys. Storyboard Toys' products were entirely Made-in-USA. Their best known product was ArtHouse, a versatile dollhouse-scale structure which children could reconfigure over-and-over into any sort of building or diorama by placing letter-size (8.5" by 11") paper artwork within rigid, transparent, magnetically-attached wall panels. Although ArtHouses were initially sold through independent toy stores, more profitable sales came when the company's emphasis shifted toward direct and catalog sales to school-age childcare providers and afterschool programs. Some of Storyboard Toys' most enthusiastic customers were therapists, who found ArtHouse tremendously valuable for engaging children in art, play, and family therapy sessions. A full range of accessory products were also offered.
