Acquired by FOX Sports (July 2015)With 12 years of NFL experience between them, Jeb Terry and Ryan Nece understand the importance of fans and the need to connect with them. However, authentically connecting with fans was never an easy process. The two teammates joined forces as StraightCast Media (fka Gridiron Ventures, LLC) to develop a successful way for athletes and fans to connect. Fans want authentic content directly from the source, not canned PR statements or texts on a screen. Secondly, athletes want to easily deliver content without worrying about misspelling, fake accounts, or reporters skewing their words. StraightCast Media exists to solve these issues. Today, fans can see the athletes content in real-time on the app, on social channels, and even on TV through various networks such as FOX Sports, NFL Network, and ESPN. You might recognize StraightCast content as the popular segments called "On The Bus" or "Behind the Helmet". We bring out the authentic athlete and leverage mobile technology to deliver it to the fans on every screen in an All-Access format that has never been done.
