Environmental Services - Lancaster, England, United Kingdom
We work with private and public sector clients to help prepare them for the financial, reputational and practical challenges of the existing and emerging environmental and carbon regulations and issues of energy security. Our approach is based on a holistic end to end review of an organisation, which after the initial site survey & audit, enables us to identify energy efficiency and cost reduction projects which we rank in order of cost effectiveness with costed proposals that show payback periods. Depending on client circumstances and current funding rules, audits can be partly or fully funded by the Carbon Trust and other sources, we can advise on this when discussing your requirements. Where clients have standby generators or CHP plant on site there are possibilities to generate revenues from The National Grid by boosting supply into the grid when peak demand is outstripping supply. With energy prices forecast to rise significantly over the next decade and taxes on carbon forecast to do the same, the positive impact that renewable energy technologies can have on an organisations carbon foot print, must be investigated. There are subsidies available from various sources to encourage the wider take up of these technologies.
